I just got my new skimmer, the RC8-4...what a work of art. Looks so much better in person. Anyway, my question is how long does it take to break in? Can anyone show me or explain to me where the beginning water level should be? Also how much air should I be letting it to start with? (air valve fully open or half open?)

Jeremy, if you're there, I plumbed it last night and no bubble production as of yet, what should I do?

Hey Sergio, glad to hear you are getting everything together. I would run the actual water level just below the seam of where the cup meets with the body of the skimmer. I would let the air valves run wide open as well. HTH

hey Jeremy I emailed you some more questions about the skimmer, did you get them? Anyway, I'm getting very little skimmate and it hasn't made it up to the collection cup...am I doing something wrong? Should I adjust the water level or air valves?
