New skimmer recommendations?

I would like to upgrade my skimmer to something better but my sump is a tight fit. It would needs to be big enough to for 150g but only 6 inches wide.

Has anybody else found a low surface area, high output skimmer?

It's going to be hard to find a skimmer with only 6 inches wide. I would suggest make another sump or can you move the baffle? What kind of sump do you have?

Lol sorry but it's not gonna happen. Id get a new sump. Sorry to be rude but my curve 7 is already real compact for its skimming capacity, but 6 inches is very small.

You may be able to get Jeff at Lifereef to custom make you something. Have you considered an external skimmer?

I like the remora skimmers. Run quite. But that's really a biased opinion as that's the only one I have ever owned.

do it right. increase the sump space so you can bring in the properly sized skimmer. without proper filtration your gonna have headache after headache in your DT, esp with a 150g tank.

Your options are slim to none. Eshopps 200 and the AquaC EV180 are the only ones I can think of and even those are probably underpowered. Not sure what your setup looks like. Could you do an external skimmer? Then you could run the AquaC EV240 or even a RO. It's probably best you consider redesigning your system so you can accommodate larger equipment.

i have a AquaC EV240 for sale if for some reason it does not fit you can used exteral
