MyMonkey
Persona Non Grata
Well, I pondered the situation of either keeping my old HOB Remora skimmer and beefing up my refigium in my 10 gallon sump. I am currently preparing a 20 gallon long tank to split up into fuge/return/inlet etc... I was unable to use a 10 gallon as a fuge and skimmer with return. Or so I thought.
Behold, my redneck inginuity has created the sumfugium...
It has the new Life Reef SVS2-24 Protien SKimmer in it, a small area with Cheato and a rock, then the return pump.
Pics: First, we have the fancy Life Reef SVS2-24 Skimmer. This thing really blows air.
Thanks again Dustin.
Next you can see the fan dangled new system set up to retain the value of having CHeato as well as the skimmer in place in the sump. I give you, the sumfugium.
Ok, it's really just a bit of light diffuser donated by Gary at A.R.T. (Thanks again) Set in to keep the cheato and the gracilaris (sic?) algae away from the intake to the skimmer or the return pump.
Based on due consideration I have decided to refrain from Prosecution of a Patent on this fan dangled new contraption.
