new skimmer

hello
i need a good skimmer for my 90g system with anemone.
which one should i choose 230/3 or 240/3 or maby one of the new one doc skimmers (i'm not sure what is new about them)
Is there much different between 230/3 and 240/3 in efficienty. can i control pump in 240/3 for setting right the skimmer.

The 240/3 is discontinued, you could still get parts if you can find one but if no one has one you will not be able to get it. Only the 230/3 3110/2 and DOC skimmers will be in the new line up. The DOC skimmers are more powerful, they work on an open loop principle like most skimmers, all of our older skimmers have a closed loop plankton safe operation, the DOC skimmer can be adjusted to run either way.

Sorry, missed that. For a 90gallon get the 230/3 or 3130/2 or the new DOC skim 9005. The 3130/2 is the most powerful presently offered but again it is no longer available so unless you find one in stock I cannot get any more. The 9005 will be available in about a month. The 3130/2 requires a 10" minimum water depth, the 230/3 needs about 3" and the 9005 will need about 4.5"
