just started cycling a small 5 gallon about a week ago.....i have 4 lbs of just live rock in it. curious as to some suggestions on some fish to put in it.

Gobies (I'd get a pistol goby pair), small cardinals, small blennies, a firefish (probably too great a risk getting multiple in that size tank) dart gobies, chromis are a bit boring, smallest clowns you can find MIGHT be okay, lemon damsels, scooter blennies, there's lots of neat ideas

Firefish can't live together even in much larger aquariums. Eventually even mated pairs will separate and try to kill one another.

I like the swissguards and the helfrichi firefish. The pygmy wrasse is cool too.
As for the clowns, my two are pretty large, but they stick to my green BTA. They never move within a 6 inch-radius.
