New snowflakes coming! What nem to get?

Hi guys,
Well, my favorite LFS is getting me a pair of snowflakes from ORA this Thursday! I'm very excited!
I'm setting up a 40 cube specifically for them and a nice host nem.
Now I need some suggestions on the host nem.
This little cube is going in our main living room, so the wife has made me promise it will be nice and attractive ;) I want a specially impressive nem to go with these clowns. Lighting is a single 250 watt DE 20K halide with dual PC flourescents. Plenty of light and random flow in this little tank.
What would you pick?:
Try for a blue gigantea? (hard to find but chance of success improves with specific tank right?)
Maybe mix a blue gigantea and a green gigantea for more color?
Blue/purple magnifica on rock pillar?
Fill the tank with lots of Rose BTAs for a mass of tentacles?
Fill the tank with a mix of Rose and various green, BTAs?
Large H. Crispa?
Help me decide.
Thanks.

Oh, the clowns will go in my 240 refugium/sump until the 40 is ready. The 40 will be filled with water, rock, and sand from the 240. Will let sit for a few weeks before introduction of clowns or nem.
Just wanted to clarify.

Do you have a good plan for keeping temperature and salinity stable in that size of a system? That would be the limiting factor I would guess. I would get it running and try it out on hot days and cold days before deciding what type of anemone you could do.

Is ORA now selling the snowflakes as well as the picassos.
Snowflakes used to come from TMC and are A. ocellaris.
ORA was selling the picassos. They are A. percula.

If it were me. I would go for sort of a tide pool effect with the 40 cube.

A tide pool with surging current would be great for either a blue or green gigantea, but not both, too many colors is distracting IMO.

I would use that stunning H mag you just got. It deserves to be showcased. As long as it is the only big invert in the tank, and you don't feed it too much, it should stay just the right size. And your new clowns will love it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the resonses so far.
This pair is coming from ORA. According to the LFS owner, ORA lists them as Picasso, but he says that the ORA rep he directly spoke with said these two look more like 'snowflakes'. Either way I'm sure they'll be great.
Flighty- I'm sure I'll be able to keep parameters stable in this tank. I will let it run for a few weeks just to make sure though before adding the clowns and any nems.
Phil- I'll also be adding two nano tunze on wave timers to really mix things up in there. As you have probably already noted by my large cube, I'm into a 'busy' reef. I love the mixing of colors. In my opinion, a reef tank can't have too many colors or textures, as long as it still looks 'natural'. You're right and I agree that only one nem is the way to go though.
Maww- I have considered putting my magnifica in this new tank, but it looks so good in the big tank too and I'd hate to take any chances with it by moving it. Plus, my black ocellaris would be miffed if I moved their new home :)
This is a tough decision. I'm leaning towards a nice medium size magnifica and letting it grow to fill the tank. But, if I come across a nice long term blue gigantea, that would be the ticket.

Fish arrival moved back to Thursday. Thursday will be 'Christmas come early' for me!
I'll be getting a small black tang and ornate male leopard wrasse, along with a small blue/purple crispa, and the snowflakes!
Still open to suggestions on nem(s) for the snowflakes.
I'll post some pics when I get the little buggers home Thursday night.

so they are picassos?

i don't think i would just call them snowflakes because they have alot of white...They are two different fish A. Percula "Picasso" vs A. Ocellaris "snowflake".

It's kind of like calling a black ocellaris an "onyx" clown...

But I guess I am nit picky about that stuff...

Either way, congrats on the new clowns. :) I love my ORA picasso..

Be careful, they are jumpers. I lost one to carpet surfing, would have lost both if i didn't jumper proof my tank. Now I only have one Picasso and I am still looking for a new mate.

Have you considered plumbing that 40 to your 240? That would almost guarantee stable water conditions with little or no extra maintenance.

Just a thought.

Hmmm. The LFS owner said he was getting me a pair of ORA picassos, but the ORA rep told him they were sending 'snowflakes'. The LFS owner thought they were one and the same and didn't make the differentiation until I mentioned it to him. Well, we'll just have to see when they get here what they truly are.
I'll be picking them up tomorrow late afternoon.

Well, I passed on the new clowns. They were definately picassos, not snowflakes as I had wanted. There were nice, but not was I was looking for.
I did bring home a very nice small black tang, two ornate blue leopard wrasses and a nice small purple crispa.

Still setting up that 40gall? If so, for me, it would have to be a magnifica. If i could find a nicely coloured healthy specimen I'd gladly trade ALL of my other anemones for it.
