Got a Red general star on Fri. Am wondering if they areas hardy as lfs says they are?

Have 120 gal fowlr tank 6mos old.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Well, no star is "hardy." These are relatively tougher than other stars. Certainly they need a very diverse diet - both meat and algae.

They also will need a long acclimation and water parameters must be ideal. In particular, specific gravity should be 1.025-1.026. Definitely no less than 1.024, IMO.
