New store????

These guys used to have a place in Oak Park. They're very cool guys, and their prices are great!!! I just talked to them and they said they're salt water will be ready in 3-4 weeks. Check them out!!

Speaking of new stores ;) Just noticed yesterday our friendly neighborhood RC outcast got his new sign up at the old location on Dewey and Madison. By the name on the sign its sounding like it will be geared towards mainly just what he said it would be, coral reefs!

who is this friendly neighborhood RC outcast and should I be carefull with this new store.

Treat it like any other new store, just use your knowledge in dealing with them and let your experience dictate whether or not you need to be careful with them.

It's being setup by a father/son team and I hope that it's a positive addition to the local scene.

thanks for the advise, I did find out who these guys are and I have had dealings with them and so far they are all possitive :)

I agree, regardless of past events, starting a new store is a big undertaking. I'm sure they are putting a lot at risk, we should give them a chance and not shoot them down before they are even open. heck, even Mr. Nemo got 2 chances from me...

theyre great people to deal with, and they can also get you most stuff if they dont have it in thier display, so just ask and they'll try to work something out

rocks

rocks

Yea I went back and got some more pieces because the first batch I got wasnt enough and they had just got in some Red Sea Salt, they are selling it for 12 bucks a bag, if you buy 3 bags it equals out to a bucket and thats $32 bucks. I havent seen buckets at that price for awhile, only IO salt but I like the Red Sea better it desolves quicker.
