New STORE!

Well as some of you know i've been back and forth between Palm Coast and Orlando. Finishing up the move. Anyways i stopped in Ormond looking for food and found theres a store off of 40 and Nova next to I think its called Holiday Cafe or something. Its called Blue Water Reef. They are finishing setting up before opening, which i was told would be toward the end of this week. The store looks great! I was talking to the owner and found out that Chris Sampson from the old 7 seas days is there as well. great prices on everything. they have a sick infinity tank(zero edge clone). two nice coral tanks. They also look to have a nice dry good setup, lots of Tropic Marin stuff. Anyways just thought i'd give anyone out in the area a heads up. Always great to have another store around. Esp since my alternative would be that sh!t hole Pawriffic Pets.

Any store that Chris Sampson is associated with has to be awesome! He is extremely knowledgable and I know he wanted to do everything right in the new store. I doubt you'll be disappointed and it's nice there's finally a store out in there area.

A bit disappointed. I drove over there this afternoon in the pouring rain and it's not open yet, no one was there and the windows were papered. Couldn't even see inside.

Any idea when tha are going to open?

Earliest I heard would be Tom'r. But I know w/ the show two weekends ago, it may have held it up. I'll find out tom'r for sure and post when!!! If you see a blue explorer outside Chris is there, knock on the door and when he answers, let him know sean sent you and he'll give you a tour.

just talked to Chris a bit ago and he said they will open Sunday...was in there last week and it looks sharp...clean and well done for sure. He has a few Coralvue recirc's and a few Coralvue needlewheel skimmers set up on his systems and they look awesome, anyone interested in a new skimmer should definitley check these out..the coral shipment looks great...prices are very reasonable too. See yall Sunday

Still was as of yesterday. Nice fellow, spent some time wondering through the store and chatting with him. Seems to know his stuff too.

just got back from the store a bit ago...they have a whole section of sps small colonys/frags and some small colonys/rocks of zoo's for $20, the other corals are all looking good too. I also got a copperband and a 6 line for my new 180 build I will be starting soon. Has some "new" live rock, I cant remember the name he used but its big, porous and light. Looks like a good addition for my 180 too....glad we have a great store up here its really coming together well in Ormond beach finally
