New store

Hey guys that are in Las Cruces and Alamogordo areas. Theres a new store openin up in El Paso. Its called My Saltwater World. If you go onto the El Paso forum here you can see all kinds of pics of it. Its a lot closer for me to go there than up to Alb. I am gonna be checkin it out on Thursday and can post some stuff here but from the picks and info they are giving its gonna be a really nice store. Its on the westside of El Paso so I'm gonna have to mapquest it lol. I cant wait to get there and look around. Dont know if I can get anything yet or not lol. Gotta look at funds after gas fill up on my truck lol. I hope that some people from this area will be able to get over there and check it out. I know there were some posts sayin that some people were goin to. Good luck. Have a great one.

I just went to this store and they are awesome around there. I bought 2 new fish from there that I watched feed while I was there. They got a little irritated when they put them in the bags but they calmed right down. The prices are great. I will definitely be going back. Its clean, quiet and nice in the store. For anyone around this area or Las Cruses stop by there and talk the guys there. They are really helpful and nice. Have a great one.

When did they open? I have been by three times in the last month and a half and they were either constructioning or getting ready to open. I will definitely check it out next time I am in El Paso.

They opened about a week ago. They dont have the coral tank up yet but they should ahve it next friday. They got sent the wrong bulkheads. It opens at Noon monday through friday and then on weekends. Their website should be up next week also if I remember correctly. Its behind the Texas Roadhouse. Literally. So turn in there when you get off I-10. Theres a boxing/fitness center that is being built next to it. You cant miss it and if your like me and turn into the road goin to the new la Quinta then theres a little alley that leads over to them lol. I am really happy with their stuff so far. I got 2 fish and some tests and they are doing great so far. I am gonna head over there on the 16th also. I cant wait to see what else they get in. The prices are also very reasonable. He did his research really well on his suppliers before he started ordering stuff also. He even visited the places to make sure they were good places to order from. Go check it out and see what I mean. You wont be sorry I can tell you that. They fed the fish before I made my disicion to even by there so I could see that the fish were eating well. They are also very knowledgable on what they are selling to you. Its not like a lot of places that will sell you what ever they think they can get away with. The ask the size of your tank and make sure that fish will be suitable for that tank and if its not then they will steer you towards what is acceptable. I walked in and started eyeing a beautiful juvie Emperor and he asked what size tank I had I told him and he said well that one wouldnt do well at all in my tank and started taking me to the fish that would do well. I know that eventually I'll upgrade my tank to a larger one but for a starter tank I thought a 55gal would be good. When I do upgrade I will definitly get it from them. They have places to get a nice RR tank for me lol. Have a great one and I hope everyone atleast stops in there and looks at they stuff.

Well I finally made it down to My Saltwater World over the Thanksgiving weekend. Things there are shaping up to be really good. The owner is very knowledgeable, prices are great and I'm really looking forward to going back. Out of all the stores there, I think this is my favorite one and they aren't even fully operational yet. I picked up 3 ORA frags and a vortec pump. The thing I really liked about it was I felt like I was talking to a fellow enthusiast which is something I didn't really get from the other stores down there. I'll definitely go back. :thumbsup:
