New sump and skimmer

I just finished hooking up my 30gal sump and new skimmer. I though it would be fun to post a pick. You can see where I need to build a return box.

It is a little cramped but I didn't need to but in baffles, thank God.
The skimmer is a turbo floater ran with a ocean runner 2500. The skimmate in there is from 24 hours.

I would put that heater all the way under the water line. It's not good to have it exposed to the air like that. Everything is coming along nicely though.

The new ebo-jager heaters say not to submerge them all the way they have a water line. but i talked to the rep and he told me they had to label it like that to get it UL listed. So corndogg is right submerge it.

Thanks, I will submerge the heater. I didn't think to ignore the min water level line on the ebo-jagers.
