Awesome looking fish, don't they look hide a lot? I thought about them, then hear that people didn't see them for months at a time.
 
I see mine a lot so far but only had him one day so we will see thanks for the compliments I hope he lives long and healthy
 
i am green with envy. i have tried 2 from LA. the first one lived for just 4 days, he wasn't in the best shape when he arrived. the second one was pretty much doa. delivery service around here is less than optimal and i think they both got much too cold in transit. might try another one this summer, he'll go in my 75g.
 
They are semi-reclusive but not shy (remember they hunt for copepods) and I see mine every day multiple times. I love fish which are displaying their natural behavior in my tanks.

This is my experience as well with my Yellow Banded (W. nigropinnata). It is in my 28 nano, so I see it all the time. It is always in and out of the rockwork hunting for pods.
