Needed some movement in the 120. Finally beat the hair algae in the 120 after being up for 8 months. Any advice on feeding the powder blue, hes a bit picky thus far?

Go to the Piggly Wiggly and get U some garlic juice and soak the food in a little of that for about a half hour or so before U feed , he'll eat that stuff right up.

Try to feed new life spectum pellets for " HARD TO FEED FISH" its great. you can pick it up at Aquarium Designs.

Its funny the yellow tangs a total pig. I can get the powder blue to eat just not enough by my standards though I am sure as he gets more comfortable he will eat more. I have tried, brocolli "he ate just a little, lettuce "didnt like", Nori "ate just a little", flake with garlic "he likes but still eats just a little". This fish though beautiful acts really stupid when it comes to food. Guess there just used to having mega ammounts of swimming room where they can swim back around fast and pick up the snack-

I only feed pellets! If if doesn't eat pellets then it don't live in my tank! Good Luck! P-Blues are wonderful fish to have and are worth the cost and upkeep.

If he will eat flakes then get some Nori Sheets and chop them up into "bite size" bits like seaweed flakes, about the same size as Julian Sprungs Sea Veggies.... garlic helps too, as you can see.

BTW: awsome aquascaping, really cool!!!

Thanks for the props on the aquacaping. I am hoping to get encrusting corals like green starburst to cover some areas and bridge together the parts. Wish I had painted the back black though. The tangs are still doing really well, they are the only fish you can easily see in the tank.:)
