New tank and fishroom setup...

I used I" w/ 45 degree angles up and down no 90 degree. I am starting with a 1900gph waterfall pump I got at tractor supply when I got my Stock tub. If its too much I will probably use my current one which is 1200gph but I have ball valves I can use too. I also put a check valve running from pump in case power goes out. Here is a pic of just the sump in the water to clear it up before I put the slimmer in the bucket. Getting my chaeto tomorrow.

Looking good. I have been considering a cube and looking forward to seeing it set up and running.

I looked at tractor supply pumps a while back. I think thy have a stainless shaft not a ceramic and will start to rust. They may be different now but keep an eye on it.

The black sand looks good. Already my corals are showing better color. The water is still a little cloudy from adjusting the rocks.

Is that a snowflake eel in the back of pic number 3? Just curious lol cuz thats kinda what it looks like in the pic.

No, it's my engineer goby. I bought him as an inch long black fish with white horizontal stripes. Then he disappeared for 4 months and I forgot about him until I started moving the rocks and he scared the hell out of me because he turned into a 6" black n yellow eel-like thing. He is awesome.

I saw a tank once that had old bottles mixed in with the LR and had coralline and corals growing on and out of them, I thought it was a clever idea. I'm putting my own Pittsburgh twist on it. Just ignore the cycling hair algae and imagine once the coralline comes back.
