As some had seen my post about my new tank being a bit off, well that was handled and the build has began (or has been going on for a bit. I had a 46gl BF so it’s not much of a upgrade and I’m still working on it. Here are some pics.

There was a bit of a delay on me getting my tank and me building my sump. I built my sump over the weekend and installed it today. So this is what it looks like now.

I'm going to buld maple panel doors with Purpleheart trim and a frame of purpleheart to trim out the top plywood. I'm also still deciding on building my canopy and if I should do Actinic T-5's When a good sale happens (maybe Black Friday) I'm going to get an Apex and also Upgrade my MP-20 to a MP-40 ES, just waiting for a good sale. Let me know what you think.

I love the chrome idea........very modern - Your instant reef looks awesome

There is nothing like the look of T5's for actinics.

Good job with the build!

Thanks
The front and two sides will be trimmed out with purpleheart wood, to match the frame of the panel door s once I do them.

always thought the 58g was a fun size to aquascape and those lumenbright pendants are really pretty decent looking for a mh fixture.

fwiw, i was quite pleased with the flow on my 58g with one mp40w on each end.

good job imo..
