I made this stand for my living room. The door is made with an antique piece of stained glass. I am engaged and my fiance instists that any tank be nice and blend in with the room. The stand has a door and drawer to hold the ATO container, timers, DJ switch, food, ect out of sight.
The tank is a Fluval Edge that I removed the top from. I had it set up with the top and it was a pain to light and maintain.
I siliconed in an overflow made from the original back of the Edge to hold the Aquaclear inlet tube, heater, and Avast ATO sensor.
The light is an Innovative Marine light from a Nuvo 16. I want this tank to be easy and low work. (My last tank was 100 gallon rimless w/ mostly SPS and was a TON of work) I plan on keeping easy colorful corals.
All together, I plan on keeping the back clear b/c the tank is so small, I worry that if if was black it may seem smaller.
