Up next is a trip the lumber store to build the cabinet doors, get some trip strips for the hood and some paint to finish it off. Aquascaping in a day or so, so more pics to come. Let me know what you think.

I have a 75g tank with cherry stand and hood, a 40+ gallon custom acrylic sump, a 48" current usa outer orbit, and a full Solana set up if anyone is interested. Just PM me.

thats a nice little setup are you going to have to put a chiller for that 250 watt light.iknow ya just got it setup did ya ever try using the scwd for allternet flow.i been debate doing to buy one and try it out.

The light sit pretty high over the water and I have some fans running on it too. I'm hoping the fans and home ac on hot days will keep it at the right temp. Only time will tell though I suppose

Here in NE Ohio, unless you don't have any AC, fans are usually anough to keep temps in check. It would be hard to justify a chiller on my setup for handful of really hot days we have.

I believe Sean ran a 250 on that tank for a long time without issue.
