New tank dust storm

I am setting up a nanocube 12 and added aragonite (0.5 - 1mm) and freshwater. I rinsed the substrate some, but probably not as much as I should have (setting up in an office and have limited access to a sink).

So, my tank now looks like this:

Any advice on how to clear the water? I guess given enough time without the pump running, it would settle out, however I would rather remove the fine dust than just have it on the bottom of the tank where it could get stirred up later.

I've thought about getting some "FilterAid" stuff I've used before in a FW tank that is supposed to clump fine particulate matter.

I have a HOT Magnum with the diatom filter which I am sure would do the trick, but it is in another city until I move in a couple of weeks.

what I usually do is stir up the sand bed, then drain the tank, then fill it back up. I keep doing this as many times as it takes until the water is clear within a minute of stirring it up. I also run filters with fine filter pads.

Thanks!

I'd rather not drain the tank since I put RO/DI water in which I had to buy from the LFS. My RO/DI won't be here until the move.

I think I'll go look for some fine filter media today.

It's a pain to live in one city and set up a tank in another!

That's exactly what I do. Works pretty well.
