Have a brand new tank coming out of its first cycle. LFS has me put a few of these guys in. Noticed a couple days ago what looks like damage on the side. To me looks like it could be from scraping on the rocks but worried it could be some kind of disease. Noticed 2 have it for quite a few days but has not effected them.

Chromis, it looks like. And one has a red area. If there is one fish in that tank with a lesion, red spot, or white spot (I can't tell in the pic) don't buy until that is resolved. Chromis are prone to skin problems. Also, if you get one, only get one. Unless you have a tank so large that they can lose sight of each other due to distance, they will war over sleeping spots and kill each other until there is only one.
