Hey bud. I live just north of D.C. I'm not asking for rock but it's hard to find other reefers around these parts. How's your system doing?

My sump. Didn't realize it would take like 10 hours to pipe this though my basement ceiling to upstairs. Had to go though like 7 boards

regular rock. my friend broke down his 300 gallon tank and gave me all of his rock, but it wasnt quite enough, i tend to like a lot of rocks in my tank, love all the life that grows on it

look into BRS reef saver rock, cheap, lightweight and looks great IME.

Great looking setup so far, looking forward to watching the build.

Finally got all the rock and fish in

Ny hippo is loving the new tank. It was a little cramped in my 3 foot 57.

No sand?

How much ft of head do you have to your display? And what return pump are you using?

BTW? That's the Marineland 265 7 footer?

Haha, I actually thought it was the 220G at first. My setup will be similiar(having the sump in basement, but directly below the DT).

Just looking at pump options as I will need about 15-20' of head to go through.

It runs 4 tanks. Enough flow to keep all tanks same temp. Flow isn't blasting out but it only uses 130 watts so doesn't cost me a lot of money to run
