I finally got the stand and canopy finished, and it moved into the house. Tomorrow and Sunday I will begin plumbing it.

This thing is a LOT bigger than I thought, my wife is a little irritated at it's size! It stands 6'9" tall. At least when we get a bigger house, I won't have to get a bigger tank. At least that's what I've told her... hehe!!!

She's comparing it to the 90g that I have now, and it is a little larger, but nothing major. I think it's just the location of it, but she just said a little while ago that it will grow on her!

It's too late now anyway, it wil have to grow on her! :)

I think it looks great. I cant wait to see it with everything in it. Your 2 boxers look great also. How old are they. I have a 7 month old Boxer.

The larger one is 5yrs old and the other 3yrs old. I really enjoy them, however with a 2 yr old and a newborn on the way, there quality time has diminished...

But they keep each other company and are always playing! :)

Here are some pictures of the tank as she sits today. It's been plumbed, filled, lit, etc... Just waiting for it to cycle so I can move everything over.

I do have to say, I'm really impressed with the lumenarc mini reflectors!!! I will try and get some comparison shots from my 90 with spider light reflectors so you all can see the difference. It is truly amazing!

The pics only have one of my MH's in, it was a spare, but I had to give it a test run:)

I am having a problem with micro bubbles!!! Millions of them, any advice on getting rid of those would be appreciated!

I also wanted to give a big thanks to Marcye and Tom at SITC, they have been a tremendous help, and always willing to share their knowledge!!! So if you haven't been to SITC, I would really recommend you do so, especially now that they have their new store up and running!!!

Wow, Chris, fantastic!!! When Tom stopped by he was extremely impressed with the entire setup and especially the Stand you made. He said it's one of the nicest he's ever seen! Some of the bubbles may dissipate as the plumbing breaks in. We had lots in the first week our new tanks were going but they've settled in and the bubbles are gone. I am so glad everything worked out well...congrats! Marcye

the only way i think you would have bubbles is if your sock is full of gunk ...in which one of your pics looks like it is .... other than that the sock is one of the best ways of removing micro bubbles

I cleaned both socks, but still a lot of bubbles... I will give it some time since it is all new plumbing and see how it goes.

Finally moved over my LR and corals!!!
