New Tank Pics

The corals are a little faded b/c I have just fired the lights back up after a dino outbreak. That had just started to color back up after the move.

I only lost a bartletts anthias and my blue tort in the move.

I intentionally piled the rock low and left lots of room for the corals to grow in. Other than the coral in the center on the sand, I like every coral I have so I am trying really hard to keep myself from jamming a ton of corals/frags in the tank

Awesome Dave!!! I have heard from others how it good it looks but its nice to see it.

Maybe my tank will look that good when it grows up one day! :)

I have to throw in those comments just to make you shake your head.

Lookin' good!

Rick

just to let everyone know the pics do it no justice. it looks even better in person. the 3 foot front to back makes a big difference on the way you can lay it out. i figure i let dave have the biggest tank for a while then i save up for the 6 foot version. but with a baby on the way dave might have the biggest for a while.

do you ever really have the money? i just hate to be trumped. i might just have to sell something to get it. anyone need a kidney?

did you find kelly loving you more after you got the new tank? plus stacy would probaly love me more if i had no tank.

I am not sure if I am sad or happy that you didn't get the fourteen year old humor in that last post.

I was tempted to write that Kelly loves my big tank, but decided against it.

...because it's not true? ;)

Heh...

Peace,

Chip

btw Chip, can you see the elegance in the pic? He is really nice under the good lights. The spot I have him in is low, not under direct light and the flow is low. He seems to like it. Its like foru or five times bigger than when I got it from you. I am planning o giving it that whole area of the tank to get as big as it wants. I had one the size of a basketball when I first got in the hobby. It took up a third of a 30 long.

Awesome! Yeah, I can see it in the first pick, toward the back. We'll have to set up a time when I can stop by with the g/f and check out the setup.

Peace,

Chip

Anytime

Sweet, thanks! She gets back from St. Maarten Saturday night and then I'll see when we can come over for a drink or something.

Peace,

Chip
