New tank setup???

Is anyone planning to set up a new tank, move to a bigger tank in the near future? If so it would be cool if we could set up a club meeting to help. The first meeting I went to was setting up Teena's bigger tank and I thought that was great. Would like to do it again sometime.

I am starting the learning process as well. If I have my finances correct I should be buying the majority of it in July (the tank sump skimmer and lights). then I'll build the stand and finish off the components and hopefully be wet sometime in August.

David: I'd be happy to help you get it setup since you are just down the road. I'd like to see how you set this up since I plan on getting this size next year. I could help hang sheet rock for the new room if you need help there, too.

Blytheville might be a little farther than I'm able to drive for a meeting... post some good pics when you finish though

Man I wish I had thought if this when I set up my 240 a few months ago.

By the way David, I would be glad to help set you set up the 120 when you are ready. That is if it is not a meeting project.

Scott,
I just got the preliminary numbers from last Quarter and I nailed the balance of dollar$ required to fund and buy my new 120G. It'll be a complete, new tank & fuge set-up. (Dave, Richard.... are you guys paying attention?!?!?) This new install will be needing the "works", and I'll need to shop everything.

Timeframe to assemble: June-July-Aug, depending if I can convince my Spousal unit to allow me to go-through a wall to "let-in" the rear of the tank, which will provide back access for maintenance.

We can talk tonight.

Just finished installing a 270 gallon today. Great tank, but moving it was a pain. 84"x24"x30".

How many tanks does that put you up too Richard ?? :lolspin:

Not mine...

The larger section is a community reef tank...the smaller section is an aggressive reef (grouper, lion, etc.)
