New tank + Tankmates

Hello there, I'm new here... clearly. So I'm Lexie and I'm currently in the process of starting up 2 aquariums... One will be for seahorses and the other FOWLR. I'm fully researched and prepared for seahorses, so i need some help with the other one.

50g aquarium w/either 1 30W light tube or 2 30W tubes... not sure, with inbuilt wet/dry filteration system
7kg live rock and all live sandbed
2 internal filters - both suitable for 25g tanks
do i need 1 canister filter and powerheads etc?? any money i can save would be good...

I need help with the fish that i'm stocking it up with in terms of space, feeding (although i'm up to speed on most of them and i know i can provide what they will need) but most of all aggression and compatibility

these are the fish im interested in

Black ocellaris clownfish
threadfin butterflyfish
raccoon butterflyfish
banded butterflyfish
bangaii cardinal
clown gobies
purple firefish
mandarin goby

and the inverts.

i LOVE lettuce seaslugs. i want a million. lol
camel shrimp
peppermint shrimp
nass. snails
nerite snails
cerith snails
bumblebee snails
id love to keep nudis but they might be hard yeah?
featherduster worms

Can someone give me an idea of a stocking list containing some of these, or some suggestions of other nice looking, reasonably priced fish to go in there?? Thanks in advance!

the lettuce nudibrachs (i think thats what you mean by seaslugs) only live a few months...FYI
the mandarin will require copods to survive i believe, that will require a ruge i think, some one can correct me if im wrong.
make sure you cover your tank, the firefish will jump out

[welcome]
the butterflies get around 9" so i would narrow it down to maybe 1 or 2 and just so you know the threadfin butterflyfish can be mean to other butterflies. also the mandarin needs alot of rock 75lbs min. to keep a decent supply of pods for them to eat as most will not eat anything other than pods, and a good mature tank. other than that looks good

more lighting is always better. And you are only using normal output lights. So I would get use the double bulb instead of single.

For the FOWLR, I would not use the bio balls in the trickle filter but instead use 1.5 lb/gal LR and LS. This could either be called a modified berlin system or berlin system with LS.

One thing you don't have that I would use is a skimmer. With all the fish you want to add, that would help lots....

The problem with the lighting etc is that it all comes together... It's a tank with a hinge lid and inbuilt trickle filter that I'm looking at...

I'm just not a huge fan of taking up all the space in the tank with LR. I don't like the look that much personally... So all live sand and 35lbs live rock... would that be ok? If I add a skimmer and external canister? As well as the internal filters?

Lettuce nudibranches I've done research on and they're actually not nudibranches... they're sea slugs... And apparantly they can thrive and live longer in an aquarium if given the right care. I did do research on them. Will camel shrimp pick on them though?

How is this...

1 Raccoon Butterflyfish OR 1 Threadfin butterflyfish (Whatever is available)
2 or 3 Black Clowns
Bangaii Cardinal
A few Clown Gobies

Do I have room for more? lol... Not experienced with the stocking of a SW tank...
thanks
