im looking to buy a new solana 34 gal. i have an existing 20g skimmer less t-5 light with soft coral. im having an algae problem so i figured that i would invest in the new tank. my question is im looking to get a darker sand, do i need to cycle that sand then already existing live rock or would the live sand then adding the rest of my existing tank work?
