let me know how your temp is running when you put the lights on..

i have an aquapod and the temp gets to 84 degrees on a 6 hr on period...78-79 when the lights are off... i am thinking of returning it. cannot keep any fish alive in there. i have had the tank for approx a month now and the temp is stable. 84 when on 78-79 when off... i hate it! i heard about some kind of recall, but i dont know details. dont mean to put you on a bad one, but just giving you a heads up since you just started your tank... this might save you a big headache before you start stacking it

thanks-

The recall was about the power cords.....about the temp I have a list of mods I plan on doing to the hood....1st and most important is to change out the stock pump....the stock pumps runs at 13-14 watts....which heat up the water fast...I replaced mine before I put water in the tank with a maxi-jet 900 which is only 6-7 watts...one more thing you can do is knock out the vents on the hood fans...should give ya cooler temps
