New tank

Hello, I am new to saltwater fish keeping, and I would like any good advice that you have. My tank is a 75 gal, and it has been running for almost two months now. It has a serpent star, five hermits, and two snails. I have done much research :reading:, but any pro advice is good.

Do I have a good light for soft corals? I have a current usa optibright led light. Also, Do you think I have cycled the tank long enough to add fish? I have cycled the tank for almost 2 months now.

I'm not too familiar with your lighting, but if your able to keep invertebrates alive for any length of time then should be ok adding fish. Have you tested the water lately? What are your parameters?

So far my parameters are:
Ph: 7-8
Salinity: 1.023
Nitrate and nitrite: 0
My current test kit does not test ammonia, but I am getting one that can soon.

Are you sure it's a Current USA light you have? Aqueon makes an Optibright LED fixture, but Current's are Orbit Marine. Either way, both of those fixtures (Except for maybe the Orbit marine Pro) are mainly suitable for low light corals and fish only tanks.

Do you think the tank is ready for corals? Brittle stars can be sensitive to fluctuations and bad water and mine is doing just fine.

What type of corals are you considering?

Just some Mushrooms and a Blasto.

Mushrooms should be fine (I have an orbit marine on my smaller cube tank with just mushrooms and it works great.) Blasto maybe if it's a little higher up.

Ya the blasto will be towards the top of the rockwork. Also, do you think Ricordea and Xenia would be ok as well? (not all at the same time of course)

Would a BTA be ok in the tank as well? I am fairly certain it will be ok, but I like to make sure.

Unsure how comparable my Fluval lights are to yours, but they are lower end and do the job for zoas and LPS I have.
