well it is done, the 10 is down :'-( and the thirty is up! :-) It looks great. I need a few more small pieces of live rock. like 3 or 4 and then I am done! the coral is in it and doing well so far, I am not happy with the flow i dont think. the 1200's are two much. we will see what happens when I get the refugium going. I have a 400gph powerhead that will be pumping my refugium, or I will use the mj1200 . is it possible the 400gph will be too much? I dont think so lol just making sure. I need to glue some pipes this afternoon, and the refugium will be set up. Pictures to come once I get home. The clownfish seemed VERY happy. but I am not happy with the lighting. I think I need more spread out light across the whole top of the tank, the 55w pc is not going to cut it. I would like to do t5's we will see what happens after Christmas.

nice man, I'm already thinking about getting rid of my cichlids and using the 75 for marine! lol. I feel bad for them though so I will stick it out with my nano for now.

Cichlids... haha. You are goin to break their hearts. I think thats what all of us converted freshwater people do... bye bye cichlids.

I still love my freshwater tank, 90g and it's full of South American fish. Here's a photo of one of the cichlids:

If I go with a larger reef later - I might have to let the freshies go - that will be a sad day.

I like my cichlids alot, its just finished....there is nothing else I can do with the tank...lol, that makes them boring. Although they do fight alot, that is somewhat entertaining

Hi Play, yeah I just love watching these guys. You wouldn't believe what happened to the little female that I had. She really played the field (3 males to 1 female) she really worked them good. One day I was cleaning their tank and normally I also clean the bottom - not this time. I put my hose into the tank and just drained it out my window by my garden. This was the first time I ever did this and it will be the last time! She must have been playing around with the hose and got sucked in - she was young and small. I finished cleaning the tank and I have two other tanks and worked on them. That night I was watching everyone and didn't notice her - I looked everywhere - nothing! I never found her anywhere but that is the only thing that could have happened. I was devastated, for weeks I kept looking and found nothing. I loved that little fish- little Missy RIP. I have two dogs and I figured if she went out the window - dogs are dogs.
