New Tank?

Hello Everyone

I am moving and have bought a new tank. Is there any benefit to moving some of my old tank water to the new tank? I am setting it up two weeks before I move my rock, corrals and fish. I am putting new sand in, how much of my old sand should I mix with the new sand.

I don't think so, but I'm not expert....I think all you beneficial bacteria is in your sand and rocks...

I would try moving a 3rd of the old sand to seed the new sand. That way your current tank shouldnt get out of wack. Also consider moving some of the live rock with the sand. Just a few pieces should work nicely.
