new tiger pistol shrimp

Just got a pistol shrimp to hang out with my watchman goby... took the goby all of 12 hours to start shacking up with the shrimp. Next question - how do I get them to set up a burrow in the FRONT of my tank, or AT LEAST in a spot where I can see them? Right now they're on the back side of the big rock stack and are nearly impossible to see.

I got one too. I got a diamond goby to go with him and the sucker jumped out. So I got another goby and I dont think they even know each other exists. Good luck on getting yours to cooperate and let you see them.

as far as getting a pistol to make one in front, its kinda like herding cats. you could try and put rubble where you hope for the burrow to be.

Haha goodluck, I've found that if you destroy their burrows they will move. So anytime they build in back run a finger through it
or
something so they move. Keep doing that until they move where you want them. That's what I do with mine. Also be careful becauseeven getting
too close
when you spot feed will cause them to move.... But maybe that's just because mine are traumatized =p
