new to clams question

I have (2) new Crocea clams. One is about 3", the other is about 5". They are housed in a 210G tank under (3) 250W MH 10K with supplimental T5 atinic lighting.

I'm new to clams so I'm sure this is a stupid question, but the larger one has almost polyp like protrusions extending from the edge of the mantle. Is this normal?

Yes it is perfectly normal.

yes, as sunfish said they are the eye stalks
