Take your time, read a lot... I mean A LOT! Also see if there is a local club in your area. There is a list at the bottom of the RC forums page. It can make a HUGE difference if you can find somebody local who can help you out along the way. I struggled for several years until I found our local club and the RC. What a difference.

This hobby isn't cheap, and going big can be expensive and time consuming, so don't get in over your head (too many newbies do). Oh, and take your time. The old saying around here is, "Nothing good happens quickly in an aquarium!"

Welcome to AA, Aquariums Anonymous. Nobody here bites, so ask questions when you have them, but there are so many articles that can be so helpful... do your reading research first.
