Thanks. I hope as it cycles it won't be a harsh one I don't want dorys to become dead I couldn't pass on the price I gave for them. I'm hoping that my cycle is shorter due to using the water out of my other 150 and some live rock from it added on to this rock and live sand. I guess I will do big water changes any advice from anyone would be great

For it to cycle right you will have to let the ammonia get up to prompt the bacteria to multiply. Do you have another tank to put Dory in? You can cycle with raw shrimp or pure ammonia injection. I have some pure ammonia. You will have to add a little each day, but it will really kick start things if you do not have any fish in there.

I've got my other 150 I could put them in idk if the bigger dory will pick on them I may be better off selling these I guess

What are your future plans on what you are wanting to keep in this tank? If I am not mistaken that Chocolate Chip Star might eat corals......Not trying to rain on your parade just being helpful

Yea I knew they would I'm going to leave them in there until I decide to put coral in the tank right now the stars and dorys are plenty trying to decide between a predator tank or another reef leaning more to predator due to the 150 reef on my living room

Ah I see.......very pretty nonetheless(my husband would definately say no to a tank in the bedroom he says he would have to pee like every 5 minutes )
