Hey, I generally don't do forums or have time for them! but I have some one who is requesting a tank, and the shape of it (if possible) is bewildering me at the moment.
guy wants it on the back wall (ish) of his bar, his bar is a half a hexagon and he wants it about 1 foot wide 2 feet tall and the length of this half hexagon.
the picture is a quick top down view of what shape the aquarium would be. He wants marine only. the wall that the tank would back onto is solid concrete, so no plumbing in there. there are 3 cabinets on each section of bar underneath where the aquarium would sit. What is kind of boggling my mind is flow. and if an aquarium that shape and size is even possible. each section would be about 3 feet long. the overflow and return would have to be on either end.he wants some easy to keep corals, I suggested soft corals, mushrooms and the like. and he wants small active fish (wrasse, clowns, gobies etc) anyway your suggestions are more then welcome. didn't tell the guy I could do it, told him I'd have to do some digging into the possibility it can be done.
oh for those of you wondering, about 7-8 years ago I started helping people set up and maintain salt water and fresh water aquariums. started out by helping someone who wanted to do something different with his fresh water tank. but wasn't sure how to go about it. don't do it for any real monetary gain more so to keep myself busy. anyway thanks for the help
