Hello Phoenix reefers,
I just moved here at the end of April, was just wondering what a Phoenician needs to do to join FRAG and attend events (ie the one being held today)? Would love to meet some local reefers and talk some salt :)
 
We do have a facebook group so you can RSVP (if you're into that kind of thing,) it's a nice way to quickly stay in touch across the many forum boards we're active in.

Other then that - just show up! Show a little early if you want, gives you a chance to look over any unpurchased frags and order some food/drink. I think everyone's heading over to reef monsters afterwards since Jorell is doing the frag demonstration.

Well that sounds easy enough! I'll be the pale/sunburnt one Hahaha. Us Iowans don't acclimate to the sun so quickly Haha!

Welcome to the group and the surface of the sun. Once your blood thins out the heat doesn't seem all that bad. At least there is little to no humidity!?.
 
Welcome. You picked a hard time of the year to come here. I moved here 30 years ago in October & I thought it was hot.
 
Welcome to Arizona. The summers get hot but there is air conditioning everywhere so you only deal with the heat for short periods of time throughout the day when commuting. Don't leave any unopened cans of soda in your car during the day.
