Welcome back to the addiction! You will find a ton of used tanks on marketplace honestly. Many are in pristine condition and worth the drive. I recommend looking into LED lights these days. T5s were a great bulb to use, but becoming much harder to find and costing more. MH/T5 was always my favorite kind of fixture to use. Since making the switch to LED though, I will never go back.

Im also here in florida, it has its advantages and disadvantages. The temperature of my tanks always stays the same without a heater or chiller, but the storms/power outages being a new issue for me. A nice generator solved that issue though.

Thanks! I'm definitely considering a full LED setup as well, but not Radion this round. Got any tips for FL aquarium classifieds? Been keeping my eye on Craigslist. Wife does FB but I do not..

I believe the classifieds here require 50 posts and 90 days wait for new members

FB is much more robust for used equipment than CL.

Yes, classifieds here require 50 posts and 90 days.

FB Marketplace is where it is at these days. That's where I have found my best deals. I got my current 120g and my last 90g from there.

I ran into the problem that 1 in 4 T5 and MH bulbs were defective and either didn't light at all or failed in 3 days. The cost of replacing 12 bulbs over the 240 became a big factor in deciding to change over to LEDs. Our power bill decreased as well. The LEDs paid for themselves in 2 years.
