New to salt tanks and looking for a Skimmer for my 60 gal tank

Looking for a HOB or in tank Skimmer for my 60 gallon tank.

will be Fish and live rock only.

Currently running a HOB Whisper 350 filter Fluval full spectrum LED day/night light.

Dont have room for sump and was told to steer away from a canister filter due to higher likelihood of nitrate issues if not meticulous on constant cleaning...

Anyways, looking for a decent Skimmer to aide in keeping my tank clean and running healthy.

Reef Octopus is a popular HOB brand here.

I have an Eshopps PSK75 HOB on my 65 and it works great. I got it when I had a 40 gallon. I'd prefer the -100, slightly larger, but my 75 seems to be doing well with the 65gallon.

Reef octopus is also a good brand and has a very similar HOB skimmer that performs about the same as the Eshopps. A bit more pricy though.

Reef Octopus is good. I would get the one with the external pump if you can swing it.
