New to Sarasota

New to the area, would like to know more about this organization and why its private from normal viewing.

ACROS is pretty much defunct. From time to time there have been attempts to revive. Most people in Sarasota head north to the Tampa Bay Reef Club or south to the Southwest Florida Marine Aquarium Society in Fort Myers.
