New to Shrooms

I was interested in starting to keep corals right now I have a pulsing xenia and a few zoas but I was wondering if anyone could kind of give me the general care for shrooms as far as lighting flow and feeding goes.

I am new at corals myself and only have zoa's and mushrooms. I bought this setup 2 1/2 months ago with maybe 10 to 14 zoa polyps and 8 mushroom polyps. The zoas didnt look very good and the mushrooms looked awesome. I added MH lighting, protein skimmer and 2 koralia 1 pumps. Now the zoas are multiplying like crazy and all of the mushrooms turned ugly brown except for the 2 green hairys. what am I doing wrong for the shrooms?

nothing wrong just changed the light. shrooms like it a bit dimmer. try shading them and the color might come back, they also generally like lower flow so perhaps a more secluded place in the tank although if they are just changing color and still opening up i bet it is just more light.
