New to SPS and they are turning white

Oh and my maxis are on a timer/wavemaker they are on opposite ends of the tank and they take turns being on every 15 minutes. Should I set both of them to be on at the same time or keep it how I have it?
They both need to stay on 24/7 until you add some more IMO. I would remove the deflectors also.

How long has this tank been up and running? Is this a relatively new system? A year old or more? Less than a year? The reason I ask is because I don't see much of any coraline algae in any of the pics you posted.

Yeah, how long has this tank been setup? By the look of the rocks and the lack of coralline algae on the back, it looks as though the tank is brand new. If so, there's your answer...

Like I thought, this is tissue recession, not bleaching. I'd get the corals out of that tank and in someone else's asap.

Just for comparison:

In my 120 I have around 6000gph = 50x tank turn-over per hour.
You have around 1360gph = 11.3x tank turn-over per hour.

IMO, I may even need a bit more flow and Im thinking about adding 2 more SEIOS.

SPS need flow...sporadic flow, not a jetstream upon them 24/7. Im still messign with mine to get it right without spending 1000.00 on TUNZES and a controller.

Good Luck!

The tank is about 2 months old. I dose with phyto last night and the slimer has polyped like crazy and the montis are fuzzy brown as if they are doing better. Which seios would you recommend?
