Hi all, It's been about 10 years since I had a saltwater tank at that time I did have some Coral but lost it all so I gave it up and now I'm back to give it a try again. Just recently I lost an emerald crab and was also questioning if I just have too much algae and what I could do about it. Please let me know what you think. I will post a few photos. I just have Fish now.

Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0
Calcium 400

I run a BRS reactor with GFO and Carbon

I have a Red Tailed Trigger, 1 Eibli Mimic Tang, 1 hawkfish, 3 blue reef chromis, 2 Kauderns Cardinalfish, and 2 firefish plus an Emerald Crab, multiple hermit crabs and snails

How long has your tank been up. How long since cycle. Are you running a sump? What kind of lights? Lot's of variables that will impact algae growth but mostly it's about nutrients in the water column. If you're growing algae, your nitrates are not 0. They are just being taken up by the algae growing in your tank.
