New to the hobby need some input

Hey guys, I'm new to the SW world. My tank has been running for a little while now and I recently added in my first two corals.

The corals are toadstool leather and clove polyps. I'm concerned the light I have is not of quality. I currently run the Current Marine Orbits, the 24" - 36" model which packs 23 Watts from 48 Dual Daylight/48 Dual Actinic LEDs, 96 LEDs Total.

I do have fish. There are plans to have an Anemone as well.
As for Coral, I am mainly looking at softies but potentially some harder coral down the road.

A) Will this light be enough?
B) Would you recommend something different? If so, what?

If is for softie I think this should be enough as long as they look happy

That would be okay for softies and fish. For anemones and SPS you will need to upgrade the light fixture. Ebay or Amazon black box led (120W-165W) will do if you're don't care for high end equipment.

Is that what you are recommending? Hanging the light is not an option. I will need to find some way to rig a stand.

Don't get an anemone for at least 6 month's to a year. Your tank is too young...you'll probably end up with a dead anemone if you get one too soon. Also, water parameters need to be spot on for a healthy, thriving anemone. A new tank will not be stable enough. Do the hobby a favor and don't get one until your tank is ready.

Sorry If I sounded harsh, I didn't mean to come off that way. Its just I have read so many posts where somebody added an anemone to their tank immediately after it cycled and then wonder why it died. Welcome to RC...we're here to help. As far as lighting for the corals you have now...I think you're fine but really need to know tank size to be sure. If you plan on getting more corals that require more light, I would just add another strip of the same. Those are good lights. I have had them myself. If and when you do get an anemone, the amount of light you have currently probably won't be enough...most anemones need strong light.

So just a question, but other than time and a good light, what specifically do you need to keep an anemone? Are there levels to meet? Can a tank be too clean for one? Not clean enough? I've been debating about pulling the trigger on a Rose Tip. Sure would make my Anemone Crab happy.

Yes, something like that! you can get 1/2 galvanized pipe and bend it to hang the light (cheapest way). Google it!
or use garden hanger poles (Shepard's hooks).
