Hey everyone! I just started my first saltwater tank a few months ago. I ran into an ad on craigslist for the frag swap a couple of weeks ago and came out for a bit. I attached a small pic of my current aquarium. I'm looking forward to being around and learning all I can from everyone!

Welcome Jeremy

You will fit in just great. We have folks in the club who have been doing saltwater for many years and some who are just starting out. You got a good start on that tank of yours. Everybody looks happy. You must be doing something. If you want to know a lots of things not to do, I am your source of info :) . There are others who can point you in the right direction as far as things to do.

I look forward to seeing you at a future meeting. Like Eddie, I can be a good source of what not to do since I've tried about everything "on the cheap".

I should be able to make the meeting next weekend. I tried to email on the ETRC site about joining, but it keeps telling me to enable cookies on the browser and they already are.

Hmmm. Never tested that part of the website. Contact Eddie (TriMax) about joining. Or print off the form from the site and bring it to the meeting.

Travis, that tank is a 29 gallon. It's got 2 Tomato Clowns and a Blue Devil Damsel. At the frag swap, I picked up the neon torch, blue mushrooms, green-eyed ladies, and two others that I can't remember the names of (the ones at the top of the picture and the far left). I got a 60 gallon tank from a friend last week that I'm going to start cycling this weekend to try to move everything over to toward the end of the month.

next month it will be a 75...in addition to the 60, then you'll need a cube for the dining room, then there's that empty wall in the hall that needs a frag tank. haha

welcome!!

love to have you at the next meeting...you could join up there. it should be pretty neat. if you can't make the trek to ripley's aquarium, you could still come to the picnic (details will be out shortly).
