Hi i'm new to the forum and new to the hobby. I have a 90 gal tank with live rock and 14 anenomies. my live rock came with algae. and i need to know what it is and if its good or bad?

What kind of "anenomies"?

That isnt anything you want in your tank.. I'd get rid of it.. Surely will spread

Just knock off the piece of rock its attached to if u can.. Will likely grow back if just cut off

It looks like some type of macro algae. It might not be bad depending on what type of tank you're setting up.

I have at least 14 green anenomies. This dark green plant is already popping up in other places.

I am more than likely just going to have live rock and fish. No coral as of yet.

Do your " green anemones " have pink tips ?

2 clowns 1 butterfly 2 firefish 1 royal dotyback 1 chromis. green anenomoes do not have green tips. trying to load picture but it keeps failing.
