Well guys I joined you in your addiction! I guess you could call it
"Coral Crack" I just bought a 30 Gal Clarity Plus flat back hex with built in filtration off craigslist. It's was pretty scratched up so a guy at the LFS is buffing the scratches out and I should have it back Sunday. So where to go from here I guess it will be lighting, I am thinking LED for reduced heat. Here is the fixture I am looking at http://www.championlighting.com/product.php?productid=73002&cat=1554&page=1 I don't know if this will be too much light but I shouldhave some kick @$$ Coral Growths. Hopefully I will hopefully I will be able to post some pics soon. Rob

55 x 2 watt LEDs might be a bit of overkill. For the money you might be better off with less wattage and a controller to manage the lighting?

Overall thats a good looking tank! As for the light seems like alot of light...it would be good if you could dim it , but i don't know what corals you are planing to keep. For me I like to go DIY but manufactured fixtures do have awesome look to them. :) Good luck with your build
