So I have a 180 gallon display running on a 125 gallon sump which runs with around 85-100 gallons in it. Just added 150 lbs of rock in the display I'm happy with it and several caves and hides and swim throughs. I hope to start adding a fish or two in the next 2-4 weeks while cycle finishes and stabilizes. Also I have a 540 gallon freshwater tank that has been running a long time, as I grow more bored with the big fish the Fowlr setup will inherit that tank so fish that get large I like

Curious on safe numbers of angels and tangs and what not and who to start with getting added.

Fish I would like.
Majestic angel
Emperor angel
Purple Tang
Sailfin Tang
A trigger open to several
Couple other fish maybe Harlequin tusk and some smaller varieties.

Didn't know if that combo is a big no or seems possible?
Any changes or additions or trades I'm open to.

Which tank is this going in? I am assuming it's the 180. If so, the Emperor needs to come off the list. For as the Triggers you will need to look into the smaller species. Sailfins and Harlequin Tusk (will eat smaller fish) do get pretty big. That's five 8+ inch fish in a 180.

Yes they are starting in the 180 but the 540 within 1 day can be converted to saltwater rescapped so it's not something I have to plan for it's already here just have to do something withy big catfish and oddball freshwater.

And yes I know they are 8"+ fish that's what I'm after, they will be purchased as juvenile or young adults and they won't even reach half mature size before I would upgrade the living space
