Just recently baught a zoa colony , it's seems to be around 4 x 3 inches
I would like to frag it into smaller sections so I can put it around my tank , it seems to be grew into a sort of Skelton ..... Could I use a small chisel to snap sections off ? Any advise would be excellent thanks in advance

Better to use a band saw that will cut through the coral plug. If the Zoas are just growing and attached to nothing but themselves you can cut them apart in bunches just do not cut the body of the Zoa just the interconected part. They normally do not look well for a few days after this.

You can use the chisel and brake the skeleton. I wouldn't remove the polyps from the skeleton.
Make sure you dip after that to prevent infections.
