Did you take it out of the tank? I've seen some of the fingers re-grow. If you can, leave them in the tank.

okay i took the whole coral out there are one or two pieces left in the tank in places i cant reach i doubt they will grow as they are in shade.
(btw the weird typos that i make are most likely because when i use an iphone it feels the need to change what i say)
would those two little pieces (1/4 inch long) be an issue? should i take them out?

If there is any healthy flesh, frag it, dip it, and mount it to rubble. you'll be suprised how many healthy frags you can get from a leather. Even the smallest pieces of healthy flesh will grow to be nice specimens.
