New toadstool.

Got this a week ago. Had full polyp extension for the first three days but now its been closed for the last three days. Not particularly worried about it as i have heard this is pretty normal. Im half expecting it to shed and then open up again. All other corals are fully extended and growing like crazy.

Should be fine, I wouldn't be worried at all. Leathers are pretty resilient. :thumbsup:

I have two different varities of toadstools...a green polyp with a bluish "body" and a light purple polyp with purple base (much like yours). They're a little different in their cycles but like it was mentioned. They're very resilient. Even if it doesn't extend it's polyps for a week or 2, don't sweat it.

I answered this in the other place you posted it.

Leathers need lots of flow to help them shed. Putting them in a new tank is one event that can kick off a shedding process.
