New torch

I picked up this 2 head torch today from lfs. It came away from the disc it was on (that fell behind the rocks so will probably remain there). Anyway I'm going to get something to stick it in place tomorrow, just wanted to check with you about positions. Liveaquaria says bottom, at the moment it's wedged between 2 rocks towards the top of my scale but that's only the middle of the tank. I'm thinking of put just to the right of where it is now as long as its not getting blasted. What do you think?

I think that it will adapt to pretty much anywhere you put it. I’d get some epoxy like aqua stick to keep it in place. Use the aqua stick with gel type superglue to hole it in place.

How to use both epoxy and gel glue? Do I mix it all together or use the epoxy first then the glue? Thanks for the advice I only ever used glue previously.

I mix the epoxy then glue and mold the epoxy ball to the coral

then make conical divots in the epoxy with a toothpick and fill the divots with glue

then press into place and hold for 5 min but without moving LOL

Best if you can find something to prop it in place.

Use the aquastick first to mold it so it fits where u want it place and then once it's molded add some super glue between the epoxy and the torch and then some super glue between epoxy and the area u want to attach it to.
